In an interview with the press Mrs. Wadhwa appreciated the organisers for taking an initiative to bring such a sensitive topic to light. When asked what does she feel about the topic being a mother,a social worker and a beauty icon, she said that young women face multiple problems relating to the topic but are reluctant to share being brought up in a conservative society.
When asked about her future plans she said that she has been working for her NGO named ‘Paankh’, which was started to cater to the needs of children with special needs whom she calls ‘Rainbow kids’.On an ending note she said that she has been organising events to promote her NGO which works towards empowering these children and their families.
